Bri and Grant were giggling and forgetting the camera was even there from the very beginning of their session, which is the most amazing way to spend your session. We started out running and playing on the beach, then wandered up to explore the cliffs overlooking the Puget Sound. They were just having fun together the whole time, and I got to hang back and capture it as it happened.
The forecast called for clouds that day, but as we got toward the end of the session, the clouds started clearing and gave us the most amazing golden hour. I swear, I couldn’t have planned it better if I tried. Then, part way through the session, the most massive bald eagle flew right overhead, creating another magical moment on a magical evening.
We wrapped up their Ebey’s Landing engagement photos by letting Bri and Grant play in the waves as the sun set. Between the laughs, the beach, the cliffs, the eagle, and that ridiculous golden light, this session had everything.
Seriously, one of my favorite engagement sessions of all time. I absolutely loved getting to capture Bri and Grant as their engagement photographer.
